Masculine birthday cards can be difficult enough, so what do you do when you need a masculine thank you card?

I suggest cutting back to a plain and simple design. A little “metalwork” beefs it up a bit and I’ve put the sentiment on the inside so it isn’t too “mushy” 

The base card is a 10.5cm square and strips of matching striped DSP in contrasting colours have been added to one edge. The bike itself has recieved the “glossy paintwork” treatment by colouring it in, covering it with Crystal Effects (applied straight from the container using the nozzle) and leaving it to dry to a high varnish finish. (You can probably see it best in the photo at the top of the post).

The inside has a bit of detail too:

Again I toned down the “mush” factor by selectively inking the “Thanks” from the “Thanks so much” sentiment in black. The bike was stamped in Basic Gray.
