My Outlined Occasions set has been feeling neglected Laughing so I got it inky to make this birthday card. I’ve teamed it with some bold, bright primary colours and black, to make it stand out on the shelf.

Recipe
Stamp sets: Outlined Occasions (W126014 or C126016) (Free Sale-a-bration set), Crazy for Cupcakes (W111618)
Cardstock: Basic Black (121688), Real Red (106578), Pacific Point (116202), Whisper White (106549)
Ink: Black Stazon (101406), Brights Markers (119702)
DSP: Brights Patterns Collection (117155)
Punches: Corner Rounder (119871)
Other: Linen Thread (104199)

The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black card, matted with Real Red and more Basic Black card. The main sentiment was stamped in Black Stazon onto Whisper White card, coloured with Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point markers and punched with the corner rounder. This was then matted onto Pacific Point card, also punched with the Corner Rounder. The balloon from the Crazy for Cupcakes set was stamped with Black Stazon ink onto the spotted Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point DSPs and cut out. Linen Thread was adhered behind the balloon which were then adhered direct to the card front. The other ends of the Linen Thread were twisted and adhered behind the main sentiment panel before popping it up on dimensionals on the card front. Varying length strips of the striped versions of the same DSPs were trimmed to a banner at one end and the other section of the sentiment was stamped onto the Daffodil Delight  banner with Black Stazon. These were adhered direct to the card front.
