Another day, another birthday Smile  Today it’s the turn of another friend and teammate, Joanne.

Happy Birthday Joanne. I hope that you’ve had a lovely day and that your boys have spoiled you rotten.

I’ve gone with more distressing again for this card, but in a very different style to yesterday’s and with a different colour combo.

The card base is an A6 portrait of River Rock, matted with Cajun Craze. A mat of Very Vanilla card was stamped in the bottom corner with the vintage style Posy Punch flower, using the Rock ‘n’ Roll technique and Calypso Coral and Cajun Craze inks. The splashes and the script from the French Foliage set were stamped off and then stamped randomly over the Vanilla mat using Cajun Craze and Old Olive inks. An aperture was punched off the edge of the mat with the Fancy Flower. The mat was further distressed by Color Spritzing with Cajun Craze and Old Olive markers and then sponging the edges with Cajun Craze ink. A strip of textured Old Olive card was sponged with Old Olive ink and adhered along the edge of the mat. After distressing a strip of Very Vanilla card punched with the Eyelet Border it was run through the Crimper and then pleated before adhering it behind the left edge of the mat with Sticky Strip. A piece of Well Worn DSP was sponged along the edge with Cajun Craze and adhered direct to the card front behind the Fancy Flower aperture. The mat was popped up on dimensionals on the card front. Using the Old Olive and Cajun Craze inks, the Triple Treat Flower was stamped onto River Rock card, punched out with the Fancy Flower and 5-Petal Flower respectively and sponged with matching inks. Dimensionals were used to pop the flowers together and then onto the card front. A sliver of Cajun Craze card was threaded through and tied to an Old Olive button before it was added to the flower centre with a glue dot. The birthday sentiment was stamped in Cajun Craze ink onto Very Vanilla card and then distressed as for the mat on the card front before adhering it to a Cajun Craze mat and popping it up on dimensionals on the card front.
