Vellum Blossom Windows

June 13, 2012

Oh-oh, I’m back to the Mixed Bunch stamp set (W125535 or C125537) and Blossom punch (125603) again today. I couldn’t resist Wink

Today I’ve combined them with Vellum cardstock (106584). As the Blossom windows go off the edge of the card layer, I chose Vellum cardstock rather than paper for the extra strength and stability. As the Vellum is non-porous, the stamped ink needs to be heat set or left to dry for a while to prevent smudging.

The Mat Pack (105826) and Paper Piercer (116631) were used to create a frame for the top layer, skipping over any areas where the vellum windows met the edge of the card. Regal Rose ink was stamped off once and then the rock ‘n’ roll technique used with the same colour ink to create the background for the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by.
