Sharing July thank you cards

July 26, 2012

Today’s card is the one that my customers in July have been receiving with their orders.

Having decided to use the Blushing Bride Pleated Satin Ribbon on the cards, I then dipped into the Color Coach to find another couple of colours that would work with it. Stampin’ Up! make colour combos so easy to find Smile

Recipe
Stamp set: Four Frames (W123440 or C123442), Perfect Punches (W117022 or 120516)
Cardstock: Early Espresso (121686), Pear Pizzazz (121693), Whisper White (106549)
Ink: Blushing Bride (119786), Pear Pizzazz (119784)
Punches: Decorative Label (120907), Large Oval (119855)
Pleated Satin Ribbon: Blushing Bride (125570)
Embossing Folder: Adorning Accents (125601)
Tools: Big Shot (113439)

The card base is a 4″ square of Pear Pizzazz card. A slightly smaller square of Early Espresso card was run through the Big Shot with the hearts Adorning Accents embossing folder, top and bottom. The Decorative Label was then punched out of the centre, between the textures. Blushing Bride Pleated Satin Ribbon was attached behind the bottom edge of the mat with Sticky Strip. Using Blushing Bride ink, the spotty frame was stamped onto a large scrap of Whisper White card and popped up on dimensionals behind the aperture. These layers were then adhered to the card front with the White card adhered flat and the Early Espresso frame popped up on dimensionals. Finally the sentiment was stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink onto a scrap of Whisper White card, punched out with the Large Oval and popped up on dimensionals in the centre of the aperture.

Here’s a batch of these thank you cards:

Thanks for stopping by.
