Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Pedal Presents

July 30, 2012

The Summer Mini catalogue will be coming to an end on 31 August. This means that there’s little more than a month left to be sure of getting hold of these products, as not everything will transfer over to the new main Idea book and catalogue, when it launches in October.

I’ve used a selection of the Summer Mini products for my card today.

The Pool Party A6 landscape card was matted with Attic Boutique DSP (125407). This was wrapped and tied at one end with Pool Party Seam Binding Ribbon (125582). Using Soft Suede ink the cycle and the presents from Pedal Presents (Hostess only set) (W126435 or C126437) were stamped onto a Very Vanilla card then  matted onto Pool Party card. Small medallions were created with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334) and the centres topped with Basic Glimmer Brads (121003). The sentiment was decorated with Itty Bitty flowers to match the background paper.

If you’d like to hostess a workshop or place an order before the Mini catty ends then please email me or give me a call.

The trick here is that the brads are purely decorative, they haven’t been used to secure the medallion to the card. I trimmed the legs of the brad a little shorter with my Craft and Rubber scissors, then applied some Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Crystal Effects would also be ideal) over the very centre of the medallion (only where the brad will be) and inserted the legs of the brad down the centre opening and allowed the glue to dry.
