Mummy box

I wanted to share the next duo of projects with you as soon as possible, before this pillow box from the retiring list sells out! It’s reduced and you can get hold of it for just £12.71 – a 25% saving. Edited to say: Whoops – too late, it’s gone! Sorry Frown

I’ve stolen the project shamelessly from a US demo, Angie Juda, because I just couldn’t resist it. It’s such a fab idea and goes so well with the little mummy from the Googly Ghouls stamp set (I’ll make a matching card some time soon Smile).

The Pillow Box (113466) was die cut from Very Vanilla card and adhered along the tab on the side so that it sits closed flat. Strips of more Very Vanilla card were hand torn into strips and sponged along the edges with Soft Suede ink before adhering direct to the box front. The whites of the eyes were punched from Whisper White card with the 1/2″ Circle (119869) and the pupils with the Itty Bitty Circle (118309) before tucking behind one of the “bandages”. Any overhanging bandages were trimmed away (carefully so that the box sides aren’t damaged) and the edges sponged as before.

Tomorrow’s Christmas Pillow Box makeover is even easier – this box is so easy to make, it’s an absolute star product, I’m so going to miss it Cry

Sara xx
