A frosty snowman button card

September 17, 2012

Yesterday I shared a Halloween card made using the Button Buddies stamp set and today I’m back to give the card a Christmas makeover, keeping the same stamp sets.

This sweet and simple Christmas card starts with a square base card of Baja Breeze, matted with some frosty Snow Festival DSP (126908). After colouring the snowman from the Button Buddies set (W122735 or C122737) with Pumpkin Pie, Not Quite Navy and Basic Black markers direct to stamp, it was huffed on to refresh the ink and stamped onto Whisper White card. Window Frames Collection framelits (129021) were used to die cut the image and the Baja Breeze frame before adhering direct together then popping up on dimensionals on the card front. The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes (W115370) was stamped in Not Quite Navy ink onto Whisper White card before punching out with the Word Window (119849). This was adhered direct to a Modern Label (119849) punched from Not Quite Navy card and adhered direct (to keep the layers down for posting). A Whisper White Designer Button (Neutrals 119743) was adhered to the snowman with a glue dot to finish.

Thanks for stopping by.
