A sampler from the new Annual Catalogue

October 1, 2012

As promised, I’m back again with a small selection of samples made using the new Annual Catalogue goodies (and a few Autumn Winter ones thrown in too for good measure Wink).

First to share is this gatefold card:

The card base is Cajun Craze and the gatefold front is matted with Comfort Cafe DSP (126898). The centre panel is the largest of the Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003) – a set of four different shapes – cut from Cajun Craze card and stamped top and bottom with the small flower garland from the Forever With You stamp set (W126725 or C126727) in Cajun Craze ink. The central sentiment, from the same set, was selectively inked direct to stamp with Cajun Craze and Soft Suede markers to match the DSP, stamped onto Very Vanilla card, then die cut with the Window Frames Collection (129021) and popped up on dimensionals. Linen Thread (104199) was tied in bows through the Naturals Designer Buttons (127554) and added with Glue Dots.

On the inside the sentiment from the Memorable Moments set (W126680 or C126682) was stamped in Soft Suede ink onto a Very Vanilla insert. The longer flower garland from the Forever With You set was stamped top and bottom using Cajun Craze ink and stamping off first, for a softer colour.

Next up is a bright birthday card:

The new Oval Accent Bigz Clear die (127005) was used to create the shaped card base from Daffodil Delight card (a small curve has been chopped off top and bottom here to allow the card to stand and fold easily). Floral District DSP (126919) was die cut using the same Apothecary Accents Framelit as for the gatefold card above and Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon (126848) was wrapped around it and a small extra piece tied on before popping the piece up on dimensionals on the front of the card. The leaf from Betsy’s Blossoms stamp set (W126004 or C126006) was stamped in Gumball Green ink onto Whisper White card, cut out and popped up on dimensionals on the card front. The bird from the same set was stamped twice onto Whisper White card using Rich Razzleberry ink. One bird was cut out in full and popped up on dimensionals and one wing was cut out and popped up separately. The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners set (W126255 or C126257) was stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Whisper White card, die cut out with the matching Bitty Banners Framelits (129267) and popped up on dimensionals. To finish, small Basic Rhinestones (119246) were added to each end of the banner and to the bird’s eye.

Last up today, we have a small Christmas gift box:

A Mini Milk Carton (117310) was die cut from Be of Good Cheer DSP (126896). The tree from the Holiday Collection Framelits (127814) was then die cut from one of the inner sides of the Mini Milk Carton and the aperture covered on the inside using Window Sheet (114323) before assembling. Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon (126848) was used to tie the top of the Milk Carton closed.

Well I hope that you’ve enjoyed this taster from the new Annual Catalogue (just use the link on the top left of the screen or click here if you haven’t had chance to browse it yet) and if I can help you place an order then please email me or give me a call on 0775 1133886.
