Cute Halloween Card

October 25, 2012

This will be one of the last of my Halloween projects this year (I’ll probably try to squeeze a final one in at the weekend).

My focus is definitely shifting to our Annual Stampin’ Up! Convention in Germany next week Laughing so many swaps to make and so little time!

The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black. A mat of Lucky Limeade was textured with the Fancy Fan embossing folder (127751) and large and small banners of Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder, added in front and behind, set off with just a splash of Pumpkin Pie. Frankie, from the Googly Ghouls set (W128060 or C128063) was stamped in Basic Black ink onto Whisper White card, coloured with a Lucky Limeade marker and cut out. The spider, from the same set, was stamped in Basic Black ink onto Lucky Limeade card and cut out. Each was popped up on Delicate Doilies (126999) die cut from Basic Black card (Frankie also had a 1-3/4″ Circle (119850) of Lucky Limeade matted between). These were then popped up on dimensionals on the card front. The sentiment from the Delightful Dozen set (W122650 or C122652) was stamped in Basic Black ink onto Lucky Limeade card and punched out with the Scallop Oval (119856). After sponging the edges of the sentiment with more Basic Black ink, it was also popped up on dimensionals. To finish, Googlies (127539) were added to Frankie and the spider.

I’ll be back soon with a Christmas makeover using the same layout.

Sara xx
