I’m back today with a Christmas makeover using yesterday’s layout. The doilies and the Halloween characters have been replaced with frosty, sparkling snowflakes. Unfortunately the pic really doesn’t do justice to the beautiful glimmer paper and if we ever get sunshine again, I’ll bet it dazzles!
The card base is an A6 portrait of Brushed Silver. A mat of Shimmery White was textured with the Northern Flurry embossing folder (120902) and large and small banners of Island Indigo and Pool Party added in front and behind, set off with just a splash of Rich Razzleberry. The snowflakes were die cut from Silver Glimmer Paper (124005) using Snow Flurry (127813). The larger ones were then popped up on dimensionals on the card front and the smaller one adhered direct. Basic Rhinestones (119246) were added to the centres of both. The sentiment from the Snowflake Soiree stamp set (W127922 or C127925) was stamped in Island Indigo ink onto Shimmery White card and punched out with the Scallop Oval (119856). After sponging the edges of the sentiment with Pool Party ink, it was also popped up on dimensionals.
