Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

My spirelli style convention swaps

November 13, 2012

This was my final set of swaps at Convention this year. I stamped, punched and die cut the separate pieces (ahem Embarassed, except when I say “I”, I mean I and my lovely DH who helped with so many of my swaps this year – he’s such a gem!) and boxed them up to finish at the airport, on the plane, in the hotel room etc Laughing

Recipe
Stamp set: Hoop La La (W126250 or C126252)
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler (121681), Crumb Cake (121685)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler (126966)
Punches: 1-1/4″ Circle (119861), 1-3/8″ Circle (119860),
Dies: Perfect Pennants (123126)
Baker’s Twine: Cherry Cobbler (123125)

The heart image was stamped onto Crumb Cake card with Cherry Cobbler ink, punched out with the 1-1/4″ Circle, matted onto a 1-3/8″ Circle punched from Cherry Cobbler card. It was then adhered directly and centrally to a Perfect Pennants medallion die cut from Crumb Cake card. Baker’s Twine was wrapped around the medallion, spirelli style, then the topper was popped up on dimensionals in the centre of a square of Cherry Cobbler card.

With so many great colours of Baker’s Twine to choose from, I’m sure I’ll be using this idea again.

Sara xx
