A big batch of valentine cards

February 9, 2013

No, I’m not sending out a big batch of valentine cards – there’s only one valentine in my life, my immensely patient and supportive hubby Smile

These ones were created for a swap. The swapees should hopefully have received them today so I think I’m safe to post them here now.

It’s a clean and simple design that’s quick to create (as it needs to be when I’m making 25!).

The card base is a small square of So Saffron and the card front was fully embossed with the Honeycomb (129378). Bees from the Collage Curios set (W129099 or C129102) were stamped within the hexagons using Early Espresso ink.

Now the whole point of the card was the word play sentiment … which we don’t have in any of our stamp sets. So I created my own on the computer and simply printed it out onto So Saffron card.

The sentiment was punched out with the Large Oval (119855), matted onto a Scallop Oval (119856) punched from Early Espresso card and popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

For the inside, the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments (W129579 or C120024) and the bee were both stamped in Early Espresso ink.

Here’s the full batch.

So if you have a (grand)son/(grand)daughter who wants a whole batch of valentines making up pronto, why not try these … it couldn’t bee easier!
