Triple time secret garden birthday card

March 12, 2013

We had another Paper Dolls birthday to celebrate at the weekend (it’s a really busy month for them Smile). This was my card for Krista.

secret garden triple time

It uses the triple time stamping technique, onto layers of Pool Party and Early Espresso card, using Versamark ink with the Secret Garden flower stamps (W129141 or C129144) and heat embossing with Pool Party EP (129398). Pool Party Seam Binding (125582) was secured into a faux bow with a Basics Glimmer Brad (121003) and the ends ruffled by drawing the thread. The sentiment from Petite Pairs (W122495 or C122497) was stamped in the same way as the flowers, onto Early Espresso card, punched out with the Large Oval (119855) and then matted onto a Scallop Oval (119856) punched from Pool Party. After popping it up on the card front with dimensionals it was finished off with Itty Bitty Shapes flowers (118309) and a Basic Rhinestone (119246).

Hope you had a lovely day Krista!

      Hi Emily
I sent the card out so I can’t double check it but I think I started with a 5″ square and the Early Espresso mats were 1/4″ less each time so that you just get 1/8″ showing on all sides. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks Amanda. I loved having the Pool Party embossing powder to combine with the Early Espresso card – lush!
