Mini Easter Sampler card

I hope that the awful weather isn’t affecting you too badly.

It’s certainly changed my plans this weekend! I’m glad I didn’t have any classes scheduled today or I’d have had to cancel. Grocery shopping has had to be postponed – just as well the freezer is well stocked. We’re pretty much snowed in and little Bess isn’t too impressed by it all, it’s a bit deep for her:

Anyway, enough of the weather – at least I can enjoy my crafting. I don’t send many Easter cards – I tend to give gifts instead – but today I have a mini Easter card for you Smile

The card base is a small square of Daffodil Delight. Apertures were punched evenly from a mat of Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP (126922) using the 3/4″ Circle (). Small frames were created for the apertures by using the same Circle punch and then repunching with the 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle (127811) from Primrose Petals card. Easter images from the Spring Sampler set (W125510 or C125512) were stamped onto Whisper White card using Soft Suede and Raspberry Ripple inks and dimensionals added a little distance between the two layers as they were added to the card front. The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments (W129579 or C120024) was stamped in Soft Suede ink onto Whisper White card, punched out with the Word Window (119857) and then matted onto a Modern Label (119849) of Daffodil Delight before popping up on dimensionals on the card front.

Keep safe and warm.

Sara xx
