Happy Easter to you and as we’ve reached the end of the month, it’s time to share my March thank you cards.
The base card is a small square of Certainly Celery. A mat of Whisper White was partially embossed with the Honeycomb embossing folder (129378) before stamping the sentiment from Essentials (W126370) in Old Olive ink. (You may initially have overlooked this “essential” set as I did, it’s designed for use with the Sweet Threads stitched cards but can also be bought and used on it’s own). A piece of Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP (126922) was also embossed with the same Honeycomb and then used to trim out some of the small hexagons which were adhered to a couple of the spaces. Other spaces were then stamped twice each with the different leaves from the Itty Bitties (128939) in Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Gumball Green and Lucky Limeade inks. (See our tip here for assembling the Itty Bitties). A dinky flower from the same set was stamped in Melon Mambo ink in just one of the spaces and topped with a Basic Rhinestone (119246). Finally, Old Olive Striped Organdy Ribbon (129291) was wrapped around the mat before adhering it direct to the front of the card.
Here was the first batch of them ready to send out:
Looking forward to the lighter nights now – better for crafting in natural light
