I’m back with another retiring stamp today and this time it’s a biggie. Although these background stamps are perfect for making your own background papers they can also become the main focus of the card by just adding a sentiment and one or two embellishments.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black. A mat of Brushed Silver (124918) was stamped with the Parlor Prints stamp (W122525) using Versamark ink and heat embossed with Black EP (109133). Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon (119962) was wrapped around the mat before it was adhered direct to the front of the card. A bow of the same ribbon was adhered close to the top using a Mini Glue Dot. The senritment from Petite Pairs (W122495 or C122497) was stamped onto Basic Black card with Versamark and heat embossed, this time with Silver EP (109131). After punching out with the Large Oval (119855) it was matted onto a Scallop Oval (119856) of Brushed Silver and then popped up onto an Apothecary Accent framelit (127003) die cut from Basic Black card. Basic Rhinestones (119246) were added to either side of the die cut layer. The completed sentiment was popped up on the card front with more dimensionals.

By the way, don’t miss out on my Blog Candy Giveaway!
