Get Well Label Thinlit card

November 2, 2013

A friend of mine has been poorly with mumps recently – just as it got to the half term holidays, to add insult to injury!

So I tried to cheer her up a little with a Get Well flip card. Quick and easy to make, with few layers so that I could get it into the post straight away but still a little special and out of the ordinary. The new thinlit card fit the bill perfectly.

The card base is a Label Thinlit (133479) die cut from Real Red card. Mats were cut from Polka Dot Parade DSP (126902) as outlined in this Thinlits tips post. The sentiment from Tag It (Wood 130300 or Clear 130303) was stamped in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card, die cut out with the label that comes with the thinlit pack and adhered to the central flip. After die cutting the arrows and “hi” sentiment (also come with the thinlit pack) from Whisper White card, they were popped up on slivers of dimensionals.

Another label of Whisper White was adhered to the opposite side of the flip for my message Smile

Hopefully my friend’s feeling a lot better by now.

Sara xx
