Quatrefancy Oval frame card

January 6, 2014

I’m still working away at my Quatrefancy Specialty printed window sheet Smile

This time I’ve used it as the framed backing for some marbled roses. Our online Simply Pressed Clay Class explains how to blend coloured clay and mix colours to make these pretty and inexpensive embellishments and this card is a simplified version of a class exclusive project.

Quatrefancy oval

The card base is an A6 portrait of Textured Cherry Cobbler (132129). An oval frame was die cut from the same card using the Ovals Collection framelits (129381). Printed window sheet from the Quatrefancy Specialty DSP (130141) was used to back the frame before popping it up on slivers of dimensionals on the card front. The sentiment from Petite Pairs (Wood 128706 or Clear 122497) was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink onto Whisper White card and then punched out with the Large Oval (119855). This was matted onto a Scallop Oval (119856) punched from Pumpkin Pie card and popped up on dimensionals on the card front. Leaves were punched from Pear Pizzazz card using the Bird Builder (117191) and were adhered to both the oval frame and the sentiment. Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie marbled clay Blossoms were adhered over the top of the leaves.

You can get our online Simply Pressed Clay Class (normal price £5) for FREE this month when you place a minimum £45 order, online, through our store.
