Happy Watercolor Calendar

This was another of the make and takes at our Open House this last weekend. I rushed this one a little too much and the centre panel is slightly crooked so take a tip from me and take your time Smile

The easel card base is Pistachio Pudding. For an Ombre effect, panels of Blushing Bride, Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple were run through the Decorative Dots embossing folder (free with £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration 133520) and adhered to the card front. After stamping the large splodge from Happy Watercolor (Wood 133188 or Clear 133191) in Bushing Bride ink onto Whisper White card, it was stamped over with the poppy from the same set in Black Stazon and then die cut out with the Deco Labels Collection framelits (130102). This was popped up on a larger Deco Label die cut from Raspberry Ripple card and then popped up on dimensionals on the card front. The poppy stem was coloured with the Old Olive marker and the poppy head was stamped in Black Stazon onto a scrap of Raspberry Ripple card, fussy cut out and popped up over the original poppy head.

On the inside, a calendar was adhered to a panel of Raspberry Ripple card and then popped up on dimensionals to create a stopper for the easel.

If you didn’t get chance to come to our Open House then you could have a go at this project in a fun workshop at your own home, just email me or give me a call on 0775 1133886 to book.
