It’s been a while since I made one of these origami boxes but with the gorgeous Sweet Sorbet papers (133521 – available FREE with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration) I figured I had the perfect excuse to dust off the technique. I provided a free tutorial for it here.

The box lid was made with a 9″ square of the Petal Parade patterned paper and lined with a square of Whisper White card. An 8-1/2″ square of Summer Starfruit patterned paper was used for the box base and lined with a square of Summer Starfruit card. After stamping the sentiments from Teeny Tiny Sentiments  (Wood 130042 or Clear 120024) onto Whisper White card with Calypso Coral ink they were die cut out with one of the Banner framelits  (132173). This was then adhered centrally to the next size up Banner, die cut from the Crisp Cantaloupe paper and then both were popped up on dimensionals on the box lid. A Spiral Flower (129379) was die cut from the same Crisp Cantaloupe paper, rolled and adhered in place and finished with a Basic Pearl (119247) in the centre before adhering to the Banners.

Inside, a few shreds of card to make a nest, topped with mini eggs, make it a great Easter gift.
