Back to a SUDSOL weekly sketch challenge today to give me a bit of direction Smile

The sketch this week is quite simple:

Sketch228

And so I decided to jazz it up a little by adding some metallics and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I tried all sorts of angles but the lighting just wasn’t co-operating with me, so I hope you’ll take my word that the glitter adds some beautiful sparkle.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Smoky Slate, matted with Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (133364). To hide the adhesive, I put it behind the main panel and just a tiny smear behind each of the metallic spots on the left hand side. The sentiment from Petite Pairs (Wood 128706 or Clear 122497) was stamped in Versamark ink (102283) onto the main panel of Whisper White card and heat embossed with Silver EP (109131). Using Smoky Slate ink, the flower and the stem from Simple Stems (Wood 133098 or Clear 133101) were stamped. Silver 1/8″ Ribbon (132137) was wrapped around the panel and then a tiny bow of the same ribbon was added with a Mini Glue Dot. After adhering the panel to the front of the card it was finished with dots of glue to the centre of the flower, covered with Dazzling Diamonds glitter (102023).

Thanks for stopping by.

I love your design. I’m sure the picture doesn’t give the sparkling flower justice! I’m going to have to CASE this so I can see the beautiful sparkle myself!
