This is one of the cards that I demonstrated at the Ross Papercraft Show on Saturday. It’s yet another way to use the fabulous Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

The card base is an A6 of Pool Party, punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper (133324) to create the fastening. The front was matted with Pistachio Pudding card. Using Island Indigo ink, the sentiment from Petite Pairs (Wood 128706 or Clear 122497) was stamped onto a panel of Whisper White card. The large splodge from Happy Watercolor  (Wood 133188 or Clear 133191) was stamped three times in Pistachio Pudding ink, stamping off first each time to get a paler colour. Black Stazon ink was used to stamp the poppy from the same set over the top and to stamp the poppy head onto a scrap of Pool Party card. After fussy cutting out the stamped poppy head it was popped up on dimensionals over the top of the original and the stem was coloured with a Pistachio Pudding marker.

A panel of Sweet Sorbet DSP (SAB freebie 133521) was added to the exposed section of the Whisper White insert and the other half of the Petite Pairs sentiment was stamped in Island Indigo ink on the hidden section. Pool Party Seam Binding ribbon (125582) was used to tie the card closed.

Thanks for stopping by.
