Happy Watercolor for February thank yous

March 2, 2014

happy watercolor thanks close up

My card today is the sweet little thank you that went out to my customers in February. I finally managed to use the other flower from the Happy Watercolor set this time … but I’m sure it won’t be long before I’m back to the poppy Smile

The card base is a small square of Pink Pirouette with the card front run through the Big Shot in the Decorative Dots embossing folder (free with £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration 133520). After stamping the flowers and the sentiment from the Happy Watercolor (Wood 133188 or Clear 133191) in Versamark ink (102283) onto Whisper White card it was heat embossed with Clear EP (109130). Melon Mambo ink was stamped over the top of the embossed images with the large and small watercolor stamps and then the ink sitting on top of the embossed areas was wiped away with a piece of kitchen towel, to reveal the resist. This panel was matted onto Melon Mambo card and then popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

The thank you sentiment from the same Happy Watercolor stamp set was simply stamped on the inside with more Melon Mambo ink.
