Petite Petals tag topper treat

March 3, 2014

Here’s a variation on the tag topper mint holder I made last month. This version could be a sweet little treat to tie to a Mother’s Day gift maybe?

A strip of Pool Party card was scored twice in the centre and then punched at each end with the Scalloped Tag Topper (133324). Sweet Sorbet DSP (133521 – available FREE with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration) was adhered direct to the front. After stamping one of the Petite Petals** flowers (Wood 133152 or Clear 133155) in Island Indigo ink onto Whisper White card three times, they were coloured in with the Pool Party marker and then punched out with the matching Petite Petals punch** (133322). Another of the Petite Petals was stamped in Pistachio Pudding ink onto Whisper White card, punched out and snipped apart to make the leaves. These were adhered behind the flowers and popped up on the front with dimensionals. Basic Rhinestones (119246) were added to the centres to finish the flowers. The treat holder was fastened closed with Pool Party Seam Binding Ribbon (125582) .

** Buy the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch together as a bundle and save 15% – Wood Bundle 134821 or Clear Bundle 134822

On the inside, more Petite Petals were stamped in Island Indigo ink. A little piece of Pool Party card was punched with the Petite Petals, folded around and adhered in place to hold the chocolate mint and stop it from falling out of the sides of the holder. A slightly longer choc bar or other sweet treat could fit in this version.

Thanks for stopping by.
