Another week, another SUDSOL sketch challenge. This week it’s this:

Sketch232

I’ve been so busy with the Sale-a-bration (less than two weeks left now) and Spring Summer catalogue goodies recently, that some of my other stamps have been a little neglected, so I’m on a mission to mix it up and get some of them inky too. For the sketch challenge this week, I pulled out Love and Laughter for a wedding card.

The card base is Naturals Ivory (108630) (for a little more strength than the Very Vanilla).  A panel of Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (133363) was dusted with the Embossing Buddy (103083), stamped with the sentiment from Love & Laughter (Wood 128433 or Clear 125477) using Versamark ink (102283) and heat embossed with Gold EP(109129). It was adhered to the card front using SNAIL behind the main image and teeny spots of Liquid Glue behind the hearts so that none shows through. The dress from the same stamp set was also heat embossed, this time onto Very Vanilla card and then matted onto Gold Foil (132622) before popping up on dimensionals on the card front. I wasn’t keen on the empty space to the top right of the dress so I punched a Small Heart (117193) from Gold Foil and popped that up on slivers of dimensionals.

On the inside more images and a sentiment from the same Love & Laughter set were stamped direct, using Baked Brown Sugar ink.

Thanks for stopping by.
