Yesterday we announced the exclusive April offer that we have for you here at Sara’s Crafting and Stamping Studio, ie. that if you book a workshop with us in April, then as the hostess, you’ll get an extra freebie from our collection of 2013 and 2014 Sale-a-bration goodies. We also explained some of the other benefits that you get for hosting a workshop, including the chance to choose from stamp sets only available to our hostesses.

Today’s card uses one of these hostess-only sets – Morning Meadow. This great little set comes with two sentiments, a frame, two flowers (one matches the Pansy punch) and a bird – a real workhorse of a stamp set for just £10 in clear mount, £13 in wood mount – extra special value for extra special people.

The card base is a 5″ square of Smoky Slate, matted with Rich Razzleberry card. Using the Cherry Blossom stamp from the  (Wood 129675 or Clear 129678 -hostess only set) this was stamped in two opposite corners with Smoky Slate ink, stamping off first for an even paler look and then in one other corner in Rich Razzleberry ink. The layer was then adhered direct to the card front. After stamping the solid flower three times onto Smoky Slate card with Rich Razzleberry ink, the flowers were punched out with the Pansy (130698), shaped, popped up on dimensionals and finished in the centres with Candy Dots (Brights 130931). The frame was stamped in Versamark ink (102283) onto Rich Razzleberry card, heat embossed with Smoky Slate EP (129396), die cut out  with the Apothecary Accents framelits (127003) and popped up on the card front. After stamping the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Smoky Slate card it was trimmed to a banner and adhered in place over the frame.

On the inside, the cherry blossom was stamped again onto a Whisper White insert with Rich Razzleberry ink and a sentiment from Bring on the cake  (Wood 128490 or Clear 121958) stamped in the same ink.

Of course if you’ve already collected all the hostess sets, or they simply aren’t to your taste, then you can “spend” your hostess credits on absolutely any other current products.
