May 28, 2014

Sorry I didn’t manage to blog yesterday. Did you miss me? 😉

Did you even notice I was gone, lol.

To make up, I have a little bit extra for you today.

The sketch challenge over at SUDSOL this week is another easy one:

Sketch242

And so I decided I’d try a “plain” version and a blinged up version. First, the “plain”:

The card base is an A6 of Coastal Cabana, matted with two different pieces of Afternoon Picnic DSP (131390). Corner flower sprays from So Very Grateful (Wood 133050or Clear 133053) were stamped in Black Stazon ink onto Very Vanilla card and coloured with Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry markers. The thank you sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped between the flowers with Coastal Cabana ink, before matting onto Crushed Curry card and popping up on the card front with Dimensionals. Finally, a couple of Itty Bitty flowers (118309) punched from Crushed Curry card, were adhered either side of the sentiment.

For the blinged up version, two sizes of the Basic Rhinestones (119246) were added to some of the coloured in flowers and also the punched ones and Dazzling Details (124117) was used to highlight the rest of the coloured in flowers.

The large flower spray was stamped off the edges of the Very Vanilla insert, using Coastal Cabana ink.

Which version do you prefer? Plain or blinged?
