Mini Moonlight Bag

July 12, 2014

I feel guilty *blushing*. I’ve had these Essentials Hardware Clips since last year (they’ve carried forward to this year’s catalogue but I’ve already had them for a full twelve months) and I think I’ve used two of them … now … including this one. Lol.

They’re one of those items that I “save for best”. But I’ve found that they’re really great for fastening these very diddy bags without having to mess around tying tiny bows with ribbon 🙂

The bag is made with a single sheet of the Moonlight DSP stack (48 sheets in a stack). Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, it was scored along the long edge at 1-3/4″, 3″, 4-3/4″ and 6″ and then at 1-1/4″ on the short edge. The base is snipped up and the smallest corner cut away before assembling. After stamping the sentiment from Label Love in Blackberry Bliss ink onto Whisper White card it was punched out with the Artisan Label (you can still get these as a bundle, saving 15%). Another Artisan Label was punched from Hello Honey card, snipped in half, adhered behind the sentiment and popped up on dimensionals on the bag front. Finally an Essentials Hardware Clip was used to fasten the bag closed.

What’s in your cupboard, saved for best?
