One of the new embossing folders in the new catalogue is Lovely Lace. This is such a pretty and varied embossing plate, that I added very little to it for this thank you card.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Tangelo Twist. A mat of Sahara Sand was run through the Big Shot with the Lovely Lace embossing folder and Tangelo Twist Stitched Satin Ribbon wrapped around the lower part before adhering direct to the card front. A bow of the same ribbon was added with Mini Glue Dots. One of the sentiments from Label Something was stamped in Tangelo Twist ink onto Whisper White card and punched out with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle. A 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle was punched from Sahara Sand card and a 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle punched from Tangelo Twist card. The plain card scallop circles were snipped slightly between each petal and shaped and then all were popped up on the card front with dimensionals between each layer (and positioning them in the centre of one of the embossed circles).

Isn’t the dry embossing pretty! I’ve got lots of ideas for how to use this.
