Filigree Frame – sneak peek

August 21, 2014

Whilst there are plenty of stamp sets and embellishments in the Autumn/Winter catty for creating special, one-of-a-kind, elaborate cards, there are also some great products for quick cards – ideal for making a batch.

Today’s card uses a sentiment from the Letterpress Winter photopolymer set (totally clear so that you can see that you’re stamping it straight!) and then adds a bit of fancy with the Filigree Frame embossing folder.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Cherry Cobbler. A mat of Very Vanilla was embossed with the Filigree Frame, then stamped with the sentiment from Letterpress Winter in the centre using Cherry Cobbler ink. Narrow strips of Brushed Gold were adhered behind each side of the stamped and embossed panel, before adhering direct to the card front. Easy. Flat for cheapest posting. Finished!

On the inside the Very Vanilla insert was stamped with a couple of sentiments from the Good Greetings stamp set. This is a hostess exclusive and beginning 28 August you can get it for FREE, when you have a party/workshop with sales totalling £200 – that’s in addition to the usual hostess benefits!
