Confetti Stars Christmas card – sneak peek

August 25, 2014

Yesterday I shared a pretty, girlie Christmas card and so today I have a more masculine card to even things out.

You can use the “waste” from the Confetti Stars punch just as easily as the main punched piece. The teeny, tiny stars that get punched out are great for shaker cards, or even for sticking to other projects if you have the patience (I think I’ll stick with shakers myself, lol).

The card base is an A6 landscape of Night of Navy, which was punched across the bottom with the Confetti Stars punch. This punched area was backed with a strip of Brushed Silver card. After stamping the sentiment from Sassy Salutations onto Night of Navy card with Versamark ink, it was heat embossed with Silver EP. The sentiment was matted onto Brushed Silver card and popped up on the card front with dimensionals.

A Whisper White insert was dry embossed along the bottom with the Lucky Stars embossing folder and then edged with teeny strip of Night of Navy card. The sentiment from Letterpress Winter was stamped in Night of Navy ink.

I hope that you’re enjoying these sneak peeks. The Autumn/Winter catty launches this Thursday!
