August 27, 2014

Yay! The Autumn/Winter catty launches tomorrow – just one more sleep to go!

So it’s the final sneak peek today and then you’ll be able to start ordering 🙂

I’d like to say this is one of my favourites … but they’re all my favourites, lol.

This is another of Stampin’ Up!’s marvelous thinlit sets – that cuts and scores a flip card … and has another 8 extra framelits to work with it. This Snowflake Card thinlit set also co-ordinates with the Letterpress Winter photopolymer stamp set.

The card base is die cut from Lost Lagoon using the Snowflake thinlit. A panel of All is Calm Specialty DSP was adhered inside the back of the thinlit card. Small snowflakes from the Letterpress Winter set were stamped across the front using Craft White ink. The Brrr sentiment was die cut from the card front, then again from Silver Foil. A backing piece of card was adhered behind the card front and the Silver Foil word adhered into the aperture. Two snowflakes were die cut from Whisper White card using the same thinlit and rotating the partial cut snowflake 90° and cutting again. Lost Lagoon ink was used to stamp the large snowflake from Letterpress Winter which was then adhered to the card front. Snowflakes from the thinlit set were die cut from Smoky Slate and Whisper White card, layered together and popped up on the card front on a sliver of dimensional. Basic Rhinestones were added to the centres of all the snowflakes.

A sentiment from the new hostess freebie, Good Greetings stamp set, was stamped on the other snowflake in Lost Lagoon ink and adhered to the inside of the card.

Be sure to pop by tomorrow to access the full new catty.
