Giggle Greetings paper pieced kitty

Another paper pieced Giggle Greetings card today. (Paper piecing is a great option to colouring in if you don’t have the right markers).

Last week I shared the aged cheese card, today it’s the kitty and hairballs card.

The base card is an A6 portrait of Garden Green, matted with Flower Pot DSP.  After stamping both the image and sentiment from Giggle Greetings onto a panel of Whisper White card with Black Stazon, just the cat was stamped again onto a scrap of Tangerine Tango card and then just the eyes onto scraps of both Tangerine Tango and Whisper White. The complete cat, the eyes and the eyelids were all fussy cut out. After colouring the cat’s tongue and the hairballs direct to the lowest, largest layer, the fussy cut out cat, eyes and eyelids were all adhered over the top of the original images. An On Film framelit was used to die cut out a polaroid frame which was adhered flat over the stamped images before popping both layers up on dimensionals at an angle on the card front. A sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments was stamped in Garden Green ink, punched out with the Word Window and popped up on dimensionals  at the bottom of the polaroid.

On the Whisper White insert a sentiment from the hostess set, Let Your Hair Down, was stamped in Garden Green ink. This sentiment set seems to work really well with the Giggle Greetings set 🙂

Thanks for stopping by.
