Yesterday I shared the SU! video showing how to use our Gift Box Punch Board and I mentioned that I might be back with another box soon. Well soon is here now 🙂

This time it’s dressed up for Christmas.

The box base was cut and folded from a 10” x 10” piece of Cherry Cobbler card following the instructions on the Gift Box Punch Board for the 2.5” x 2.5” x 4” size box. Mats for the box sides were cut from Crumb Cake card (four mats), Cherry Cobbler card (two mats slightly small than the Crumb Cake) and Old Olive (two mats the same size as the Cherry Cobbler). After adhering the Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive mats to the Crumb Cake mats, lengths of Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon were adhered behind the Old Olive panels (tip – by adding the ribbon halfway down the back of the panel you don’t need to use as much as wrapping the ribbon all the way round the box and you reduce the bulk). The panels were adhered direct to the box sides so that the ribbon wraps around the top of the box when closed. Two trees from the Festival of Trees photopolymer set* were stamped in Old Olive ink onto Very Vanilla card and two different trees in Cherry Cobbler, all were punched out with the matching Tree Punch*. The Old Olive versions were popped up on the Cherry Cobbler panels and vice versa. A sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments was stamped twice onto Very Vanilla card with Old Olive ink and twice with Cherry Cobbler ink. All were punched out with the Word Window. The Old Olive versions were matted onto Modern Labels punched from Old Olive card and the Cherry Cobbler onto matching Modern Labels of Cherry Cobbler card. Again, the Old Olive versions were popped up on the Cherry Cobbler panels and vice versa.

*Buy the stamp set and punch together as a bundle and save 15%.
