Metallic Wondrous Wreath

November 14, 2014

Well it’s been quite a grey day here (just starting to brighten up now) so I decided to use grey for my card.

But I couldn’t stop there 🙂 I had to give it a bit of sparkle with a few metallics!

The card base is an A6 gatefold in Smoky Slate and panels were stamped with Hardwood in Smoky Slate ink before popping up on the card front. Metallic Silver ink was used to stamp the full wreath from Wondrous Wreath* onto Whisper White card. After heat drying and dusting with an Embossing Buddy to make double sure it was dry (the Metallic Silver takes a long time to dry thoroughly) it was then overstamped with the partial wreath in Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold EP. Basic Gray ink was used to add the berries. The Wonderful Wreath framelits* were then used to die cut it out before popping up on dimensionals (on one half only) on one of the opening doors. A bow from the same framelit set was die cut from Silver Foil and popped up at the top of the wreath. Dazzling Details was then added to all the “berries” to finish.

On the inside a sentiment from the set and the bow were both stamped in Smoky Slate ink.

Have a great weekend.
