Many merry trees

I generally prefer blues and silver for my Christmas colour combo but I went with traditional red, green and gold today.

The card base is and A6 of Real Red and the front cover was run through the Big Shot in the Lucky Stars embossing folder (currently reduced in this week’s Weekly Deals). A large Circle framelit was used to die cut the centre from a mat of Old Olive and the sentiment from Many Merry Stars stamped in Versamark and the heat embossed with Gold EP above the aperture (see tip below). Gold Satin Ribbon was wrapped below the aperture and pinched at the centre with a Candy Dot Brad Base and finished with a Basic Rhinestone. This layer was popped up on dimensionals. The single star point was stamped onto Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz card with Versamark, heat embossed with Gold EP and punched out with the tree. These were also popped up on dimensionals, overlapping across the aperture. Itty Bitty Accent stars were punched from Champagne Glimmer paper and adhered to the top of the trees.

curved sentiment

Tip – the sentiment is already curved but not enough to match the Circle framelit. Photopolymer has some “give” to it though, so it was possible to curve it a little more to match.

On the Whisper White insert, a sentiment from Sassy Salutations was stamped in Real Red. The star point was stamped again (as a Christmas tree) in Old Olive ink and topped with the teeny tiny star (from the same Many Merry Stars set) in Baked Brown Sugar.
