Something Borrowed Get Well

A couple of my crafting friends have had to have operations recently and so I sent them Get Well cards to let them know I’m thinking of them.

Usually I choose bright colours for Get Well’s but I’m loving the soft, delicate look of the new Something Borrowed suite so I developed a design around those.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Sahara Sand. A panel of Whisper White card was stamped with the Feel Better sentiment from Sassy Salutations using Sahara Sand ink. Some Sahara Sand Lace Trim was adhered behind a strip of Something Borrowed DSP and then adhered to the stamped panel. A teeny narrow strip of Sahara Sand card was adhered below the lace and then the whole panel adhered direct to the card front. After stamping the lacy flower from Petal Potpourri* in Sahara Sand ink onto Whisper White card it was punched out with the Flower Medallion*. A plain Flower Medallion was punched from Sahara Sand card. The two flowers were shaped, pinned together with an Antique Brad and popped up on dimensionals on the card front.

More of the lacy flowers were stamped down the edge of the Whisper White insert with Sahara Sand ink.

I’m wishing you a speedy recovery ladies.
