Sheltering Tree with doily

April 27, 2015

Today’s card uses a few retiring products (the Soft Sky Taffeta Ribbon and the Scallop Edge border punch will be going/have gone) but hopefully not too many. We won’t know about the stamp set for another week or so 🙂

The card base is an A6 landscape of Pear Pizzazz, punched along one edge with the Scallop Edge Border (sold out from our retiring list!!!) and a Tea Lace Doily adhered direct to the card front. Using Early Espresso ink the tree trunk from Sheltering Tree was stamped onto Whisper White card. The leaves from the same set were stamped over the top with Pear Pizzazz ink before punching out with the 2-1/2″ Circle. This was adhered direct to a Circles Collection framelit die cut from Soft Sky card and then popped up in the centre of the doily with dimensionals. Soft Sky Taffeta Ribbon was tied in a knot around the left front edge of the card front.

On the Whisper White insert the tree trunk and leaves were stamped again as on the front. The bike from the same set was stamped in Early Espresso and the frame, over the top, in Real Red. A sentiment from the set was stamped down the right hand side in Early Espresso ink.

It’s not too late to join our May Card Class, bookings close on Wednesday 29 April 🙂
