This simple card is an ideal masculine card – no clutter and no feminine embellishments.

We made this one a birthday card but it would also work well for Father’s Day – which is a little over 5 weeks away, on Sunday 21st June.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Island Indigo. Rectangles of Flashback DSP (sold out) were adhered direct to opposite corners of a Very Vanilla mat and then to the card front. Using Island Indigo ink, the ship from Open Sea was stamped onto a panel of Very Vanilla, matted onto Island Indigo card and the popped up on the card front.

On the Very Vanilla insert, a greeting from Wetlands and another, partial image of the ship were stamped in Island Indigo ink.
