Amazing birthday aperture card

A stepped up birthday card for you today. And at the time of writing you can still get all the materials you need for this card 🙂

It’s actually only the Birthday Bash DSP that’s retiring and there are some lovely papers coming soon that you’d be able to switch for it.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Crushed Curry, punched three times on the right hand side with the 1-3/8″ Circle. Mossy Meadow ink was used to stamp the Surprise and It’s for You sentiments from Amazing Birthday onto scraps of Whisper White card. Tangelo Twist ink  was used to stamp the birthday cake onto another scrap of Whisper White card and all were punched out with the 1-1/4″ Circle and popped up on dimensionals through the apertures. A strip of Birthday Bash DSP was adhered direct to the card front. Crushed Curry ink was used to stamp the stripy banner onto Whisper White card and then the Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped over the top with Mossy Meadow ink. The matching Banner framelit was used to die cut out the stamped image. Another banner, the next size up, was die cut from Mossy Meadow card, the stamped version adhered direct and then the layers popped up on dimensionals centred over the DSP strip.

On the Whisper White insert, cut narrow so that it doesn’t show through the apertures, the stripy banner was stamped again with Crushed Curry ink (a couple of Bermuda Bay sequins were added to cover a stray ink splodge!).

I should be able to get my swaps from the weekend photographed to share with you tomorrow 🙂
