Wondrous Wreath – not just for Christmas

June 16, 2015

On Sunday I shared a Christmas card made with the Wondrous Wreath bundle.

Of course the set is designed for creating Christmas cards … but it’s always good to find another use, isn’t it? 😉

Today we’ve turned it into a thank you card. The DSP provided the colour combo.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Hello Honey matted with English Garden DSP.  Using Old Olive ink, the flower from the Wondrous Wreath* set was stamped as a leafy background on a panel of Whisper White before matting onto more Hello Honey and then popping up on dimensionals on the card front. The same flower was stamped onto Whisper White card with Hello Honey ink, die cut out with the matching Wonderful Wreath* framelits and popped up on slivers of dimensionals. Using Soft Suede ink the bow was stamped, die cut out and popped up below the flowers. A sentiment from Petite Pairs was stamped in Soft Suede, punched out with the Large Oval, matted onto a Scallop Oval of Hello Honey and popped up on dimensionals beneath the bunch of flowers.

On the Whisper White insert a couple of strips of DSP to match the front cover were adhered direct.

Not just for Christmas then!
