The stamp set that we’ve used for today’s card has a matching punch to punch out the duo of smallest snowflakes (and the Flower Medallion punches out the medium one) … but we we’ve kept to stamping for this Christmas card. Our black and gold colour combo was suggested by the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP – a pack of papers printed with metallic ink – sparkly! 🙂
The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black. Versamark ink was used to stamp the medium and duo snowflakes from the Flurry of Wishes set onto a panel of Basic Black and these were then heat embossed with Gold EP. The Merry Christmas sentiment from the same set was stamped and embossed onto a scrap of Basic Black in the same way and then trimmed to a banner. A strip of Winter Wonderland Speciality DSP was adhered down the left of the panel before popping it up on dimensionals on the card front. Gold Cording Trim was looped and secured on the back of a Metallic Gold Foil Doily and then the sentiment banner adhered to the front before popping up on dimensionals on the card front. Gold Sequins were adhered in a scattering (so much less sticky residue using the new Fine Tip Glue Pen than the Tombow 🙂 ).
On the Whisper White insert, the largest and duo snowflakes and another sentiment were stamped in Memento Black ink.
I’ll be back with a co-ordinating gift box soon 😀
