Honeycomb Hello

Strange how you can overlook stamps that have been around for a while but spot them when they’re repackaged somehow. That’s what happened to me with this Honeycomb Hello set. It was in last year’s catalogue but it was only when I saw it used a different way, in the 2015-16 catty that I had to have it 🙂

The card base is a small square of Crushed Curry, stamped with a sentiment from Honeycomb Hello in Memento Black ink in the lower right corner. Hexagon Hive thinlits die was used to die cut some So Saffron card and portions of it were cut away. Crushed Curry ink was used to stamp the zig-zag pattern through some of the apertures onto Whisper White card and then the bee was stamped onto solid hexagons with Memento Black ink. The Whisper White layer was adhered direct to the card front and the die-cut layer popped up on dimensionals above it.

On the Whisper White insert, the zig-zag hexagon was stamped again with Crushed Curry and the bee stamped over the top with Memento Black ink.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Sara xx
