Sleigh Ride in Gold

November 22, 2015

Retiring

Well I wasn’t expecting to be back again quite so soon with this reworked design but I don’t want you to miss out on the chance to get hold of the stamp set and edgelits 🙂

Stampin’ Up! are saying goodbye to a number of retiring products from the autumn/winter catalogue (you can see the list here) and these items will only be available until 4 January, or while supplies last! The Witching Decor project kit has already sold out and I don’t expect the Sleigh Ride edgelits to last all the way through to January. Be sure to get any favourites that are on the list before they disappear!

I’ve already used the edgelits to create two different colour ways for this design (here and here) and here’s the third.

The card base is a small square of Cherry Cobbler. A sentiment from the Jingle all the Way set was stamped in Versamark ink in the upper right quarter and heat embossed with Gold EP. After punching teeny tiny semicircles top and bottom of the card front with the 1/16″ Circle, Gold Cording Trim was tied around and in a bow (the notches allow the card to stand straight rather than wobbling because of the cord). Two sizes of Tags and Labels framelits were die cut from Gold Foil card and another, in between size, die cut from Cherry Cobbler card. The smallest Gold Foil label was also die cut with the Sleigh Ride edgelits. The two larger labels were adhered together direct and then popped up on dimensionals on the card front and the Sleigh Ride label was popped up on slivers of dimensional.

On the inside, another sentiment and the dinky snowman from the same stamp set were stamped onto Very Vanilla card in Cherry Cobbler ink.

No more versions now, I promise. On to other projects 🙂
