Sneak Peek – Printed Washi Tape

May 25, 2016

Even though I’m in the middle of a set of sneak peeks, I’m still able to bring you Washi-tape Wednesday 🙂

This time it’s how to use the design printed on the washi-tape. One of the new sets of Designer washi-tapes in the new catty is the Affectionately Yours and it includes a great design of lovely little stems of Mint Macaron leaves. You can simply lay this tape down to create leaves and stems for your flowerheads.

The striped Watermelon Wonder tape is another one in the same set and simply separates the image from the sentiment.

The card base is a small square of Watermelon Wonder, matted with Peekaboo Peach. A layer of Whisper White was taped with the Affectionately Yours washi-tape as detailed above and a sentiment from Tin of Cards was stamped below in Watermelon Wonder ink. Flowers from the Love and Affection set were stamped onto scraps of Whisper White card, coloured with a Peekaboo Peach marker and stamped with the centres again in Watermelon Wonder ink. These were fussy cut out and popped up over the washi tape stems with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, another flower was stamped and coloured, direct to the insert, to match the flowers on the front.

Hope you’re enjoying these sneak peeks!
