May 28, 2016

Another sneak peek for you today from the new catty, launching 1 June! This one combines the Layering Love sentiment stamp set, one of the new In Colors, Sweet Sugarplum and a new Specialty DSP pack, Pop of Pink.

The DSP is mainly black and white on one side, black and/or white with a pop of pink on the other and has two sheets of white with Gold Foiling on. We opted for a plain black and white pattern for this card, to show the Sweet Sugarplum off.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Sweet Sugarplum, matted with Silver Foil and then Pop of Pink Specialty DSP. Two labels were punched, one from Silver Foil and a slightly smaller one from Whisper White card, both using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. A sentiment from the Layering Love set was stamped on the white label with Basic Black ink and teeny hearts from the same set were stamped around in Sweet Sugarplum ink. After adhering the two labels together, Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon was threaded through the labels and tied with a bow of Silver 1/8” Ribbon before popping up on the card front with dimensionals. It was finished with a few sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from the Layering Love set was stamped in Sweet Sugarplum ink.

Enjoy the rest of your bank holiday weekend.
