I hope you’ve had a great bank holiday weekend. I’ve had great fun crafting. Still working with Layering Love but this time combining it with the Layering Squares framelits to create a shaker card.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Dapper Denim. A card front layer of Smoky Slate was run through the Big Shot with the Boho Chic embossing folder. Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon was wrapped around the lower portion of the ambushed layer and tied in a knot before adhering it direct to the card front. Layers and frames were die cut from Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder, Dapper Denim and Window Sheet using the Layering Squares framelits. Using Dapper Denim ink, a sentiment from Layering Love was stamped onto the Whisper White square and a few hearts stamped around with Watermelon Wonder ink. New Foam Adhesive Strips were used to attach the layered frames after sprinkling a few (too many) Brights Sequins inside.

On the Whisper White insert, another sentiment from Layering Love was stamped in Dapper Denim and the heart coloured in with a Watermelon Wonder  marker.

Love how easy the framelits and the foam strips make shaker cards.
