This month Stampin’ Up! have an exclusive, limited-time bundle. It’s available until 31 August or WHILE SUPPLIES LAST (sorry for shouting but don’t want you to miss that last important point!). It’s the perfect set for birthday, thank you, general occasion and Christmas cards. Details of prices and links for ordering are here.

Here are the stamps:

They’re so gorgeous, I’ll be playing with this set quite a bit this month I think so you may see a number of samples using it. First up, this thank you card.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Pear Pizzazz with the “leaves/petals” from Thoughtful Branches set stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink down the sides. A card layer of Sweet Sugarplum was run through the Petal Burst embossing folder and adhered direct to the front of the card. The stem and leaves thinlit from the Beautiful Branches set was used to die cut Pear Pizzazz card and these were adhered to the card front (with the end of the leaves unadhered to stand up a little). Using Pool Party ink, (with a little “thumping” added with a Sweet Sugarplum marker), the leaves/petals were stamped onto Whisper White card and die cut out with the matching thinlit. The same thinlit was used to die cut from Pool Party card and both flowerheads were crumpled to add a little dimension and then adhered above the stem, the Pool Party version direct to the card front and the stamped version popped up on slivers of dimensionals. Finally a sentiment from the set was stamped onto Whisper White card with Sweet Sugarplum ink, trimmed to a banner and popped up on the card front with dimensionals.

On the Whisper White insert, different stems, leaves and flowerheads were stamped in Pear Pizzazz and Sweet Sugarplum inks (stamping off to give dimension to the flowers).

I’ll be back soon with news of a class that I’m offering this month using this same stamp set and dies.

Sara xx
