Sara’s Crafting and Stamping Studio

Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Eastern Beauty notecard

June 8, 2017

This year’s exams will be done and dusted in a week and a half so I’ve had a break today and had a little craft – how I’ve missed it with all the studying – looking forward to a summer playing.

I used the Eastern Beauty bundle to make a little notecard.

The card is a small square of the new In Colour, Berry Burst, matted with Old Olive. A smaller square of Berry Burst was run through the Big Shot with one of the (14!) Eastern Medallions thinlits, stamped with a greeting from the matching stamp set in Berry Burst ink and popped up on the card front with dimensionals. Two co-ordinating framelits from the set were used to die cut the flower from So Saffron, this partially cuts the petals so that they stand out. Two of the tiniest dies were used to cut the small star centre from Berry Burst. This was adhered to the flower and the flower popped up in the centre of the medallion with another dimensional. Finally a Rhinestone Jewel was added to the centre to finish.

The insert was just trimmed with a tiny stamp from the Eastern Beauty set, stamped in each corner with Berry Burst.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
